The Ethel LeFrak HolocaustEducation Conference 2012

National Catholic Center for Holocaust Education | 01.09.2012

Registration is underway for The Ethel LeFrak Holocaust Education Conference on "Holocaust Education: Challenges for the Future" which will take place here at Seton Hill University on October 21-23, 2012.

The conference is designed for Holocaust educators teaching at the college/university and middle/high school levels. We encourage online registrations via alumni.setonhill.edu/lefrakconference.

Vacation Station Travel, michael@vacation-station.net or 724-832-7117, is handling hotel reservations. The cut-off date for the conference rate of $89 (plus tax) single or double at the Ramada Hotel & Conference Center is Friday, September 28. Please note that area hotels are often full due to the recent increase in Marcellus Shale drilling, Vacation Station Travel staff are also available to assist with travel arrangements.

Seton Hill University is offering an online course, "The Future of Holocaust Education," in conjunction with the conference. For further information contact Dr. James Paharik, jpaharik@setonhill.edu or 724-830-1073. The eight week course runs from October 13 to December 8.
